You have hibiscus in NC?

Mojo said...

We have some varieties. This one was in a container, but I've got a larger variety that does just fine planted in the yard.

Very awesome! I love the black background!

Where do you get your cool buttons from?! Do you make them yourself?

I took your advice and joined in with Thematic Photographic - patterns. Thanks for the tip!

@mommywiz: Thanks! I was going for something minimalist, but dramatic. Sounds like I hit it right this time. I steal only the finest buttons, and these came from Smarmoofus She's got all kinds of time on her hands and creates cool little gadgets like this. And I'm sure she'd be happy to provide you with whatever you need 'cuz she's just a rockstar that way. Right Smoofus?

Oh... she doesn't seem to be here right now. Well stick around. She always turns up sooner or later. (I think she secretly digs me.)

Beautiful! We've always had the prettiest hibiscus in Florida and my mom has a couple that are double flowers .. they are also the most tasty and all blooms that can be reached by a labrador retriever are fair game. Happy WW.

Wow! I love Hibiscus! We had a whole hedge of Hibiscus trees growing in the large garden Of the SCH (Senselessly Constructed House)I was born in and lived all through my life till I got married and 'went' away.

I love the first image, with dew drops on the silky surface of the petals & the color is such a beautiful pink..one of my favorite colors

The first thing that comes to mind seeing this is tears on flushed cheeks...

Hi Mojo, you found some pretty flowers and took some nice snaps of them. Thank you.
I hope your WW was happy, thank you for visiting mine.
The lady at the bar was thinking one bike when and where she left it. Now there are oodles of bikes and she has been drinking wine. I hope she can find hers (and is able to ride it home).

Wow... who knew this one would be this popular? Too many comments to respond to them all... that's a first! But be assured, I've read and appreciate every one of them. Tune in next week when I try to figure out what to do for an encore...

Apparently I raised the bar pretty high.
