Blue Monday #1: "It's a Wahtah Feetcha"

"It's a Water Feature"
Greensboro, NC - July 2008 (Click to embiggen)

 Hosted by Smiling Sally

First there was Thematic Photographic. Then came Wordless Wednesday. Eventually you know I had to fall for Ruby Tuesday. And now, through a series of coincidences(?) I've discovered Blue Monday -- which just because of the name alone I should've guessed already existed.

Anyway, you know me... never met a photo meme I didn't like, and I had the perfect debut shot for this one already uploaded and waiting for an opportunity.

So here it is... my first-ever Blue Monday.

This is taken down the barrel of a tabletop fountain in a friend's apartment. Since there wasn't any water in it at the time, all I could really tell was that it looked cool and would make a cool photograph. It wasn't until after I'd taken the shot that she told me, "It's a wahtah feetcha" (in perfectly accented Brooklynese... pretty good trick for a girl from Oklahoma).

Mojo- You are old enough you probably just didn't pay attention to what was popular-70s/early 80s to little girls.Talking about the Holly Hobby record player by the way.
