Ruby Tuesday #9: I Don't Know What It Is Either

Ruby Tuesday - Are you red-dy? Hosted at

I'm on the road with very limited access to the interwebz for a few days this week, but I'll catch up with you when I get back!

There's no telling what you'll find on a college campus -- especially at a liberal arts college. This sculpture dominates a lawn on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington. We spent a while trying to figure out if it was supposed to be a representation of something and finally decided "It's just art. Get over it."

Baby Boy is sitting on my lap as I type this. He said, "What is THAT? It looks like a giant woohoo bar."
Whatever that is.

Doesn't look edible to me. Or even chocolate-filled. Perhaps he's hungry....better go fix him something.

With chocolate spirals....

Mojo, colleges campuses tend to install such sculptures. It is art, so they say, very modern art! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)

I love this shot. It's gorgeous with your blog format - the red text on black...

And I concur with your...urrr...conclusion (about the sculpture).

Happy Tuesday

Not a bad looking sculpture, in my opinion. I like it between the trees. I've seen more ridiculous art. Someone in my town does a lot of art like that; she has a very colorful front yard.
