Monochrome Monday #10: Let Freedom Ring

"Liberty Bell Replica"
Raleigh, NC - October 2008 (Click to embiggen)

Raleigh, NC might seem like a strange place to see a sight like this, but this replica of the Liberty Bell sits outside the NC Museum of History in the downtown Capitol District.
(No, I don't know if the replica includes the crack. I didn't see it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there...)

This reminds me of the Liberty Bell replica in Independence Park in Jerusalem. Now, that would probably look nice in sepia...thanks for the idea.

Great subject for a black and white shot.

I am sure I have seen the bell with a crack. Good subject, with or without.

It works in B&W. I wonder if there's a lot of difference in true colors.
The subject is evidently perfect for Monochrome.
