Watery Wednesday #6: Atlantic Sunrise

"Atlantic Sunrise"
Atlantic Beach, NC - October 2008 (Click to embiggen)

Watery Wednesday

This is the reason I chose the "sunrise side" of the hotel when the desk clerk asked me my preference. But truly? You couldn't go wrong with either side. There's something about the sun on an ocean horizon that speaks to me on a visceral level. Maybe you can see why.

I would have loved to see that one!! My poor specimens from VA Beach in Nov. pale by comparison!

Visceral indeed. Sunrises like this speak to the soul and remind us why life is so incredibly precious.

After the stunning loss of a friend this week, pictures like this are affirming. Thanks for posting it.

Gorgeous! We have an advantage in Israel - the sunset side of the country IS the water side *grin*.
