"Every Rescue Dog's Hope"Raleigh, NC - May 2003 (Click to embiggen)Next Week's Challenge: "Aftermath"
I hope someone will adopt those rescued dogs. Have a Blessed 2009!
I like rotties . But our house not an option

perfect for the theme!bless your big old heart :)
I'm wishing and hoping someone adopts him soon :)
Poor animals don't get to choose who they go home with...
This photo is from May of 2003, and "Joy" (a particularly fitting name for this girl) found her forever home with some really nice folks in Guilford County. This particular rescue is very careful who they adopt to, because Rotties are the wrong breed for most people and most people don't realize that. Which is how so many of them wind up in rescue to begin with. But my soapbox is well documented when it comes to researching the breed(s) you're interested in before getting a dog, so I won't launch into another rant here.I'm not sure if it's the dogs' hope or my own I'm trying to portray in this photo. Probably a bit of both.
:( So many who need homes...We adopted ours over 7 years ago. He's the best!
