Watery Wednesday #11: Dog Days of Summer

Watery Wednesday

Dogs and water go together like burgers and fries. Usually. Miss Kodi, the Flat Coated Diva, likes the water, but only on her own terms. And from the looks of it she's none too sure about the clam (I think) below the surface of the sand blowing bubbles at her.

What a great and fun shot. To me it really captures a dog - it's playfullness (in being wet) and it's curiosity.

Awe! She's really interested in what's happening there, isn't she?

Your shot reminds me of one I had of my golden retriever on a sandy beach. Nice dog!

Dogs are the best. Love your photo. Reflections are always attractive to me.

I didn't play this week, but this is a fabulous photo....

What a great picture. Any water picture with a dog in it is great in my book. My dog is a (all black) border collie mix but I think she looks a lot like a flat coat.

Such great light in this picture, from the shadow to the reflection to the overall glow...I can almost feel the sand between my toes!

He's cute! I think his coat is heavy with water so watch out when he starts to shake off the water. hehehe

Happy watery Wed!

I have 2 shihtzu's that would not agree about the water. LOL! I love all dogs, I can't think of any breed of dog I don't like. They are so honest.

Have a great Wednesday. I'm still smiling from watching the inauguration today.

Oh she's having fun! LOL Great photo.

But collies usually don't like water, I had a boarder collie for years and she'd avoid even the smallest puddle! too funny really.

Great watery concentration!

Fun! At least he wasn't shaking the water off on you!

Ah what flatty wouldn't like water. My ex had one. Mad about it he was. Well actually he was that anyway but in the nicest kind of way. So full of life and mischief. Lovely dog.
Yours looks just as much fun to be around and that concentration is very catching. I find myself staring at Kodis feet too.
Cute picture.

A dog in water, they are almost fish-like, you'd think they would have evolved fins.

My dog loves the water too. I will try and post a photo of her at the river in a future post.

What a wonderful photo! Captures the essence of the dog. And I love the reflections beneath her feet, and the way the background simply disappears from view! Makes her the centre of attention. Good thing you said she was looking at that clam, or I would have gone crazy trying to figure it out!
Thanks for sharing!
