Sky Watch Friday #25: Good Morning Sunshine

"One Sunrise, Coming Up"

In case you missed it: Check out my entry in Nicole B's Scavenger Hunt!Sky Watch Friday

I said a couple of posts back that sunset is my favorite time of day. I'm sticking with that, but it's hard to ignore the color in this sunrise and the promise that it brings.Violence Unsilenced

I think my last comment got lost in Bloggerland somewhere! Anyways, just wanted to say that this was the coolest skywatch picture I have seen on your blog since I began to follow it - and that I am convinced that sunrises are probably as stunning as sunsets in their own way - only problem is that by the time I wake up (even when I sleep outside), most of the dramatics are already calming down...

Beautiful, I love the blue of the water just as much as the dramatic sun and sky! But I agree with Ishtar, sunrise happens WAY too early in the morning to be my favorite time of day - and I'm getting to old to stay up all night in order to catch one...

The color is great, but never mind the peacefulness of the ocean that time of day. Who wouldn't love it?

That is an incredible sunrise. Worth getting up for, to say the very least.

That is a beautiful sunrise, and the reflection is amazing.
I usually go for sunsets just because I'm more likely to be paying attention then.

I prefer the sunrise personally, but I'm not especially good at catching either. Well done!

I don't know why, but this shot makes me think of pumpkin pie. I like the lens flare quite a bit. It feels almost necessary because without it the photo may be a bit too clean.

Hi Mojo,
This sunset is so spectacular, it takes my breathe away! I must tell you that I'm still chuckling about your My World Liberty photo. I had to go back and visit it again - just to see the leaf blower!

Blogger is eating my comments today. Grrrr! This is my second try.
This is crazy beautiful. The air must be thinner in the morning and that's why sunrise photographs so clearly

Absolutely gorgeous!!! So vibrant & clear - If only I could photograph that well! *mmmm*

Between sunrise and sunset, I'll take on sunset! At least that will mean...off work, time to head home and hibernate!! *LOL*

A very nice shot of sunrise I must agree. Hey!! What time was this shot taken?!?!?!? *rolls.over.head.back.to.dreamland*

Sunrise and sunset are equally beautiful times of day and make photos hard to distinguish from one another unless you are familiar with the location. This sunrise is breath-taking.

Oh my what a sunrise. I tend to get sensets apart from once when i had insomnia. That was a grand morning I thought. Well, that's until now. This one is out of this world. I am blinded by beauty.

On my night time shot. Landscape mode, ISO speed 1600, opening (?) F/5.6, lighting time (?) 1/10 sec. Also good to note that it wasn't completely dark yet. It was the blue hour in between sunset and night time blackness. I might have added contrast and sharpness manually afterwards by editing. Cannot quite remember. Hopefully this is helpful.
