Thematic Photographic 44: "Edible" v.2.0 - Say Cheese(cake)!

"Mmm... Cheesecake!"

For some reason I seem to have quite a few shots of decadent desserts in my archives. I'm not sure how that happened. Perhaps I was eating vicariously. I featured this pumpkin cheesecake once before in these pages, though it was a top-down shot and bore a tricking resemblance to cheese pizza in that shot. From this angle you can see that the top of the cake was simply caramelized, which is what gave it the appearance it had. But you'll have to take my word for it's pumpkiny goodness, 'cause it's long gone!Violence UnSilenced

I've never had pumpkin cheesecake, but I can tell that's going to change mighty soon on account of this entry. I'm willing to bet it's a great combination, especially given my general aversion to things that are overly sweet. The pumpkin probably balances the taste quite nicely.

If this keeps up, I think I'll be putting a lot of extra miles on the bike this year. It's the only way I'll be able to keep my weight down!
