Watery Wednesday #22: Summertime And The Livin' Is Easy

"Summertime"
Saranac Lake, NY - August 2005 (Click to embiggen)

Watery Wednesday

This was a lunch stop for me and my son after our visit to Lake Placid in August of 2005. I wouldn't have minded lingering there a bit longer, but we were on a tight timeline and the side trip to the Olympic Training Center had already siphoned off the little bit of wiggle room we had in the schedule.Violence UnSilenced

Lovely photo. It remeinds me of a park I used to play in as a child.

B & W has just this beautiful effect. It makes look on the photo longer and think what could be the natural color of the things seen on the photo. Very nice water glimmer even in B&W.

Looks like a real pleasant spot. Too bad you were unable to spend more time there. Oh well, at least you got this pretty photo.

I can imagine that you would have loved to stay longer.
Beautiful place indeed :)

Re dogs, hairs and rabbits.
King, the Lab needs brushing every day now in summer. To get the ticks out and stop his skin from itching.
JoJo, the Dachsen is the one that goes after the rabbits.
King tried again yesterday and pulled a muscle badly (one spot that never seems to heal right).
He's better today, but boy, he's a cry baby to begin with and something like that makes it really bad ;)

Looks like a fine dining spot. Too bad you couldn't stay longer, as it looks like the type of place you'd want to hang out and relax a bit more.

Your image is great in black and white, some how it makes holds a reminiscent feeling this way.

Great black and white water shot. Love the way the light reflects off the water. We're in NC, too, so hope to see some Watery Wed. shots shot in NC! Have a great rest of the week.
