Window Views

Like most major streets near college campuses, Tate Street in Greensboro, right by the campus of UNC-G is home to a skein of restaurants catering to the student population. One of the more popular eateries in Jimmy John's, a sandwich shop famous for good subs, good prices and preposterously fast service (handy when you're late for class and starving). But it's also famous for its sense of humor, including the "Free Smells" sign in the front window. Well, it cracked me up anyway.Violence Unsilenced

When I read your post, Mojo, I read "'Free Smiles' sign in the front window." Ha! Look how your mind has expectations... I didn't realize you had typed "Free Smells" and the sign says that too until i looked at your photo. Great post! :)

I would guess they get lots of requests for free tastes! Looks like a good window to be inside looking out.

I too am familiar with Jimmy Johns, but ours does not have such a cool looking window. Great shot!!

I'm still chuckling.
That sure is a cracker :D

And I sort of envy you for all the options to go out and grab a quick bite, sigh..... ;)

I hope all those free smells are good ones.

I still miss some of those college town eateries I used to frequent. If I lived within 10 hours of it I'd go to Stuff Yer Face tomorrow for a turkey club boli!

I love what that window promises - "Free Smells" - someone has a great sense of humor (as you say). It's the fires thing I noticed in the photo.

This makes me realize that most smells are free.. but there are several that I wish I could give back.
