Props (and apologies) to Daryl at On The M104 for appropriating (and folding, spindling and mutilating) her theme title, but it just fit too well. Yes, this is the same guy you saw giving the Bronx cheer last week, only now he's paying close attention to what's going on on the Schutzhund field. Because soon it'll be his turn to compete.

Makes you want to hug him. I love that face!

Having had a black cat once upon a time, I could write volumes on the hell of proper exposure. I wish I had had this shot - perfect balance of sunlight and shadow - as a guide when I was shooting our feline maniac. He is seriously sweet.

He looks like he can take a little blame and keep on. What a beauty.

I'd say the eyes have it in this shot -- so serious, focused, and penetrating. What a beautiful animal!

Oh! I love this dog! He looks like he's got Belgian shepherd in there - and that's one of my favorite dog breeds. Thanks for the photo, Mojo.

Ears up, eyes focused - yep, he is intent on something that's going on. Beautiful dog and photo.

Good grief he is beautiful! The caption was pretty darn funny too. You caught this "puppy" at the perfect moment.

I can't believe I missed this one earlier!

The eyes look a lot like those of the dog in your header photo. I love his/her eyes the best. Looks like a very intelligent animal.

I'm currently in love with this guy; ;named Omar.

Love this, Mojo. It makes me wonder why BBDs (big black dogs) are usually the last to be adopted from rescue agencies. What a shame because as this one proves, he is both beautiful and intelligent. Looks like a dog who would be an absolute love. I had two LBDs (little black dogs) and two black horses in my lifetime. Also had three black and white dogs and a black and white tuxedo cat among many fur friends.
