What these simple life forms can do with a little dirt!

The slight flaw is part of its beauty.

I ran into a good friend of many years some time ago and noticed as I was talking to him, that he had capped his famous chipped tooth. I really enjoyed that chipped tooth...

This is a wonderful photo and the caption really enhanced for me. It reminded me of something I would otherwise not have recalled.

Best,
Gina

I like the slightly flawed shell picture very much.

The lines on it are beautiful despite the little flaw on it.

How was your weekend? Good I hope! :)

Beautiful shell! The flaws add up to its natural beauty. Have a great week :)

I love the really warm colors, you don't see that often on a clamshell, at least not here. The orangey tones work really well with the black stripes.

Great tagline too.

Funny, I'm in North Carolina and I decided to post a shell today, too! After I posted it, I came here first to look at other photos, and here this is! I feel like we are at the same dance, wearing the same dress, LOL!

Beautiful in it's uniqueness ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Still very cool! The flaw makes it more interesting. :)

The flaws make the shell (and humans) more interesting. I love collecting shells and like photographing them too. I like this one as well. Great macro shot!

Have a great week! :)

What a beautiful shell. Isn't it a wonder... some beaches have lots of shells to find and others do not. Lovely!

I used to think small anomalies represented imperfections. But then I think of my grandmother's face. When I was a kid, I'd run my hands over her wrinkles and tell her how only she had wrinkles like that. They made her MY grandmother, and I couldn't imagine her being more beautiful without them.

I love the spirit of this shot for precisely the same reason.

There is no such thing as a flaw in a seashell. It makes the discovery so much more sweet.

Nice shot! And the flaw makes the shell more perfect! :)
