55 Flash Fiction Friday #49: Chapter 41 - Bandooq


Some stories are the same in any language.
Most of the gang dived to escape the approaching juggernaut. But the gun-emboldened leader drew a bead on the windscreen. Before he could shout a warning Arjun stopped, staring at the blossoming red-black hole in the daciot's forehead. He turned just in time to see Anaamika eject the spent shell from the fallen sepoy's rifle.

wow! Lyrical! " drew a bead on the windscreen" and " blossoming red-black hole" I love those expressions!
