This week's Thematic Photogrpahic challenge is "Green", which can have some really interesting interpretations. But for openers I opted for something pretty mainstream (read: "obvious"). So let's see what you got.

You call it mainstream; I call it interactive. I want to drag my finger along the chord of the leaves and watch - and feel - the water bead off. Thanks to this pic, I can almost feel it from here.

Such a refreshing photo!

And hey, can you share your code for BlogAward invites in the box above? If I try to do it myself I might end up wasting a day or two! LOL

I'd be very glad to post at the start of my post...'til the contest is over!

Terrific...the water drops add just the right touch!

You really cannot have "green" without water can you? They seem to go together like bacon and eggs or peanut butter and jelly... of course none of these are green. ;)

What I love about this photo is the bit of bold red in the corner of the green. We know that the green, usually not the show but the background, is in charge here. Beautiful shot.

I'm thinking something about envy . . .

Mmm. I can almost taste the water. I like the flash of red in the photo, too, good contrast.

Don't underestimate this image. Photos of raindrops do really well in the sales market, especially on such lush green foliage.
