Photographically Challenged Fridays on Why? What Have You Heard?

I've been considering this idea for quite some time now. No meme (gasp!), no themes (oohhhh!), just photos that I like. So this is The Great Experiment, submitted for your approval. It's not a meme, but you are of course welcome to join in. No themes, no format, no rules, no buttons, no badges, no bling... completely free-form. I probably won't leave it on Wednesday since Wednesday already has so many "regular" themes going for it already. (I'm thinking maybe Friday could use a boost.) But these shots that I got this past Monday evening simply wouldn't wait. It was one of those times that happens right before sunset when the light turns to pure freakin' magic for maybe 15 or 20 minutes, and I was in the perfect place at just that moment. Sometimes you don't have to chase the light. Sometimes the light comes to you.

Happy Wednesday ~ You are correct - perfect light. I am a wannabe photographer and am always trying to learn from the pros - such as you or David over at Authorblog...I have been trying to look at shadows and natural light more. Thanks for posting these photos which makes one stop and pause. Enjoy your day!

Theme or no theme, your photographs are always worth the click. Love the composition of the first one, colors of the second.

Oh wow, you nailed it. Sent it straight out of the park with these two. The light is golden, and the composition is perfect.

And a place for whatever we happen to like? Count me in.

Those are beautiful!! Very nice! That is precisely why I started my photo blog - I wanted a place where I could post photos any time just because I liked them. Might have a story. Or not. Free form photos. A very good thing! :D
