Kind of looks like the underside of a wing on a space ship or something.

Totally sci-fi. Structures like this amaze me for two reasons. Of course, there's the obvious defying-gravity, stretching the bounds of engineering aspect of it. But what really amazes me is the story behind what it must have taken to get something like this built. I like to imagine the courage of a man, an architect, a team of designers, whoever, and their passion for a concept that, while obviously more expensive than a standard box, ensured the city was left with a structure for the ages.

Visionaries, all. I'll bet tea with them would be an illuminating experience.
