This is what Life is all about. Right there. You captured it so perfectly- the holding on, the letting go, and all the spaces in between.

Brayden's little fingers are holding on so tightly that his capillary refill is compromised :)

One of my earliest memories of my dad was when I was about this age. I was holding his finger and I thought that it was like holding a telephone pole.

It seems like so long ago that mine were that little, and they're still so very young. You never really get that adage about time flying until you're a parent (or better yet a grandparent), do you?
