Wow my eldest son would love this house. He's a budding film maker & this would make the perfect haunted house! Great shot!

When I was a kid my brother and I made a club house out of an abandoned home like this one. We built tunnels and secret stair cases with escape hatches so that we could quickly disappear into the cornfield. Great photo.

Oh to be there with the D90 ... what an awesome old house ..

That looks like an old farmhouse I lived in with friends in Stoney Hill Community (we had a Wake Forest address). It actually looked that derelict the last time I went to see if it was still standing but I think it still had some peeling paint on the wood.

I love old houses like this one. They make me wonder who might have lived there once, and wonder whether they were happy there. I wonder, did someone love this house once?

So much history there! We have one near us very similar and I always want to stop and walk around but I don't. Very cool!

Once upon a time, that house might have been filled with lots of laughter and joy...

Oh the stories these walls tell... if only we could hear as clearly as your camera lens can see.
