Superb Monochrome!Pixellicious Photos
"Off the rails I was, and off the rails I was happy to stay. Get out of my way" --MorrisseyYou seem to be the master of angle and framing. I love the way the RR bridge slants across the picture, with earth below and sky above. Jazz guitarist Wes Montgonery once had an album called "Down Here On The Ground" which i thought was a neat title. This picture seems to divide the "down here" from the "upper realms" with an unforgiving steel barrier. Or maybe I'm just being a poet.xoFB
Montgomery, that should be.
That's a fantastic shot. I love the lighting and composition as well as the overall feel of the shot.
Great composition ... and I like the light/shadow contrast

yeah! i love the lines and perspective on this one..and the black and white...good stuff!
Wonderful black and white. Valerie
The mix of silhouette and shadow shapes is highlighted in monochrome! Wonderful, fascinating shot!
Fantastic!!! Sky in monochrome is always a great capture:)
Sometimes black and white images do more to dramatize the sky than any number of color versions. This is just terrific--moody, suggestive, and evocative of a noir novel.
really nice composition. it looks mysterious and dramatic. my skywatch is up here.
Perfect mono...so dramatic...http://www.womenandperspectives.com/2010/05/sky-watch-bogor-presidential-palace.html
