Um...going down? Sorry!!! But this reminds me of those cartoon characters who walk off a cliff but don't fall until they look down and realize where they are.

Awesome capture! Such clear blue skies! And the helicopter does look frozen in time! Superb! Have a great weekend!

Great shot. That helicopter looks as if it's frozen in mid-air.

Great shot of a moving object! Beautiful day to be in the air.

Great shot. I feel like I'm flying beside it from the photograph.

That's cool. Looks like a hump backed land slug...with wings.

I really do hope that Coast Guard is just patrolling and not off to rescue :)
Never been on a heli, so do hope I'll ever have the chance!
Have a good weekend J!

Great shot. Last month, a chopper circled my house and neighbouring area. My photo was a tiny chopper. My 14 year old son made a video, we had fun.

i was gonna mention the frozen rotors but magiceye beat me to it.

Q&A: yes its the Priory and on the Poole Quay at night, the sky colour was changed using selective colour.

We've had quite a few of them soaring above our house lately. They're rather noisy.
