Durham is close enough to Raleigh that it almost doesn't even qualify as "Elsewhere". But even if it were in my back yard duke Chapel would still be "somewhere else". For starters, it's big enough to be "elsewhere" all by itself. But size notwithstanding, you cannot look upon this place without being transported (okay. maybe you can, but I can't.) Maybe that qualifies it more for "Something Else" than "Somewhere Else", but I'm counting it.

Thematic Photographic 79: "Elsewhere" v.6.0 - Definitely Somewhere Else

The part of Duke Chapel you photographed could qualify for elsewhere since the tall tower is what is usually photographed. I like this better. Magical quality to this shot.
ReplyDeleteVery nice ... it has an other world quality to it .. I am just going to say I love all the posts since I was here last .. the insanity that is my job this week takes first place over blog comments ..
ReplyDeleteand dont forget me when you do WW tomorrow! 'K? xo
The only thing that could've improved the shot was if the girl was not there. I love the plays with light. Very good.
ReplyDeleteYou stood in just the right spot. The lighting in this is really delightful--and fun.
ReplyDeleteThe church fired the first architect because he didn't like the classical design. You might say he was an "Arch Enemy"
