Monochrome Weekly #67: Olde Towne
"South of the River" Bethlehem, PA - November 2005 (Click to embiggen)
Puts me to mind of all of our forefathers who lived in institutions and what unloving places they were. I like some of the detail here: the design around the centre of the builing and the lovely old lamp.
Constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome. Respectfully stated differences of opinion are equally welcome. Love feeds are, of course, graciously accepted at any time.
Spammers, hate-mongers, and those who place other people in compromising or dangerous positions... comment at your peril. I have a zero-tolerance policy for such.
Not exactly Adams Family but certainly gloomy.

ReplyDeleteA very dark and moody shot but a very interesting structure. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThe Road to Here
Norman could also be there . . .
ReplyDeleteAre those windows all boarded up or just dark?
ReplyDeleteThis could be a great structure again someday with some TLC (and a whole lot of sunny happy daylight to banish the Bates Motel feeling).
That looks like an interesting house. I like the lamp post.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good setting for a spooky story or perhaps a little magic. ~ Calico Contemplations
ReplyDeleteI just love it.
