The Birthday Elves have been grousing that there's been no work lately. I swear, you can keep these unionized elves happy no matter what you do. So you can imagine my relief when I learned that one of my very favorite photobloggers was celebrating a birthday today. (or yesterday or tomorrow... or whatever day it is in her part of the world. How about this: May 6th. There. Now it's settled.Whatever day May 6th falls on where you are, it's special. 'Cause it was on that day in ... well some year or other that the world was introduced to Elaine "Napaboaniya" Ling. And the rest, as they say, is history. Elaine's not just an el supremo photographer, she's one of the few bloggers in the known universe to hold the coveted Diamond in the Rockpile Award for her scintillating, sensational, stupendous (and other alliterative superlatives) work on Napaboaniya APAD (A Photo A Day)And if that's not enough for you, you can also check her out at Its Not a Weekend;Its a LifeStyle. If you've visited either place, then you know what I'm talking about. And if you haven't then... why not?? I mean good grief, she's been in my blogroll forever, surely you must have seen.So Elaine, this post's for you. I hope you had the best birthday ever (or are having ... is it still Wednedsay over there?).
