Ruby Tuesday #6/Thematic Photographic 17: "Angles" v.6.0
Today I have another two-fer. A hockey net is a cornucopia of angles, making it perfect for thie week's Thematic Photographic (Angles). And because it's red, it's also a natural for Ruby Tuesday. I love multitasking. I honestly don't remember which game this shot came from. It could have been any time since January of 2007, and I can only narrow it down that far because I know I took it with my digital. And prior to January of 2007 I was still shooting film. But I can tell you it was shot at RBC Center -- home of the Hurricanes.

Hi Mojo, I like your multitasking.

Inquiring minds want to know if there was a game going on at the time you took this photo. Cool shot, nice red. Take care.
Dear Mojo,
you are even multitasking with words!! What an angle.
Knifeshap shot and very innovative.
From Felisol
I can see a ton of goals being scored in that net by many Buffalo Sabre players this year! ;-)
Great shot for Ruby Tuesday!
Opps... I hate when that happens!
;-)
There thats better.
Cool Ruby Tuesday shot!

Nice shot for Ruby Tuesday! My first entry is here.
Happy Tuesday!
@Grandma: Actually, I believe there was a game going on. When I shoot at pre-game warmups I'm always behind the cage (section 110 for those familiar with the building), so the angle is wrong for it to have been pre-game. Plus, if you look in the lower left corner, you can just make out the butt-end of the goalie's stick.
@Kimmie: Yeah right. Guess we'll have to play the games and see.
That was a very interesting shot! Great perspective!
My Ruby Tuesday entries are now posted in my food blog and photo blog. Hope you can drop by. Thanks!
Very creative shot!!
Red is perfect for holding up the net. It is visible, and should an errant forward crash violently into the net while charging against the goalie...It can camouflage the blood he leaves behind!
Nice photo shot!
wow! That is a good angle taken! It indeed reminds one of a cornucopia!
Those angle posts are very innovative ! I like the unique shots!
Whoa! Be careful! you're too close to the goal post!
I love the colour red.
Great way to fulfill the two-fer!
Yeah right???! ;-) We surely will see! I am definately going to mark my calendar for when we play the Hurricanes. This way I can put on my Sabre shirt, shake my pom poms and celebrate while my guys kick your guys butts! Hehehe! How 'bout a buck a game? And don't say you won't take a woman's money! I am a good sport about stuff like that. I say we make it interesting. Oh and whoever wins the most games at the end of the regular has to also buy some sort of little trophy. ;-)
You On Mojo???
Hugs,
Kimmie

Hockey is a sport? I thought it was a fight on ice! Just kidding
Another great shot. The red is more wonderful because of the stark white.
Crafty Twofer - the dual purpose kind.
You would be very welcome as a Mono' Maniac.
Nice shot! especially nice to see for a hockey fan, now that the exhibition season is underway.
I used to be a huge hockey fan (back in Czech). Now I grew into more of a football fan :o)
And yes, I like the caption you came up with on my blog.
Luv how you've taken care of TWO themes in one shot -- very cool!
ps. I have an award for you!
I ♥ your blog!
... in fact, adding you to my reader now. =)
dude, you are cold! Penguines my ass...snicker
Touché
You just know that the Canadian in me loves this shot for so many reasons. This scene has a dreamlike quality to it that echoes the years I spent skating on the outdoor rink around the corner from my house.
Thanks for evoking a really neat memory!
A guy who multitasks? And likes it?? I'm impressed. Great shot here.Very nice photography and I love the name of your blog. The best part is that you are from North Carolina! So glad to "meet" another blogger close to home. The only other North Carolina blogger I know is Tarheel Ramblings in the triad area. Adding you to my reader and my sidebar!
Thanks for visiting my Ruby Tuesday and commenting.
Nice multi-tasking here … I love the hint of red for Ruby Tuesday. Thanks for visiting mine at Small Reflections while I was away from home. I’m doing what I can to catch up this evening.
Hugs and blessings,
