Monochrome Monday #3: General Aviation
Back behind the tree line in the little town of Fuquay Varina, NC I happened upon this small, independent, but still operational airfield. The folks here specialize in general aviation. They tow skyborne ad banners mainly. And like most small businesses, they improvise quite a lot. This Ford tractor is what they use for a "tug" to tow aircraft on the ground from point to point.

Tractors and airplanes....big boy toys. I like what you do with black and white, no matter the toy.
Hello, Have a nice week ahead!!!
Great shot! Have a great week. :D
thats a lovely shot!
That tractor looks heavily customised for the job they have given it. My first love is aircraft so I love this. As I frequently say, B&W suits machines perfectly.
What a fascinating piece of machinery!
Love it! Machinery looks so good in B&W, and your composition is perfect.
Its always nice to have a view of another's world!
What an unusual and fantastic subject for B&W. You're Monochrome inspired.
Pleeaase! No improvisation with aviation. Aces'time is past.
This is wonderful, the sort of photo you want to invent a back story for ...

My island is full of these. Great choice for a mono.
Well, if it works!
