Sepia Scenes #6: Shy Camelia
I think this is a camelia poking its head through the fence between me and my weird neighbors, but it could be one of the Dendron Sisters (Rhoda or Phyllis) too I suppose. I just know it looks almost exactly like the camelias I didn't manage to kill when I moved them a few years ago.I wasn't sure how well this would work converted to a monochromatic format, but it grows on ya. (pun intended)

Nice close-up shot. I love the grains of the wood.
And I do love a good pun. LOL This reminds me of the little surprises that make their way through our fence from our neighbor's yard.
I like the contrast between the wood and the flower ... and your pun too! 8-)
My Sepia Scenes are here and here.
Oh I do love others having Weirdo neighbors too! I like it, and it does kinda grow on ya, :D
The wood is especially nice in sepia and the plant does "grow" on me.
I really like the more golden tones in this.
I keep going back to look at it so it must be growing on me. :)
Happy Thanksgiving Mojo!
Look at those wooden texture..
It's a wonderful macro shot..
Beautiful and original.
The pale vertical grains of the wood highlight and seem to protect the precious dense bronze of the leaves! Lovely!
A beauty peeking out! Nice one:)
Happy Thanksgiving!

It works very well, Mojo! Happy Sepia Scenes! Have a good day! :)
Very nice close up Mojo. And I think it is a Rhododendron just by looking at the leaves.
Oh wow I wish we still had flowers blooming. Everything has gone by here already.
I am late but my PC was down all week and just got fixed yesterday.
My shot is here.
