Sepia Scenes #15 Gimme a Brake
There was so much rust on the running gear of this abandoned rail car that I almost didn't even have to convert the image to sepia. With the wheel almost rusted to the track, the scene was very nearly toned in sepia when I shot it -- even in full color.

Hello Mojo! These are great shots in sepia!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
OK. Consider yourself braked. Cool pic jazz man. Love the natural sepia that rusty age can give us.
Great photo! I love trains, and black & white photography, and the emotions they both conjur up.
Great choice for sepia scenes. Superb!
Ooh, groovy. Great closeup, it really brings out the texture.
You're on a real roll with titles this week, too. (Or should that be a real "stuck", since both these and the axel in the other one aren't rolling anywhere anymore?)
Very good, Mojo. I have a similar photo I haven't posted yet. ;-)
Very nice...I think I have a similar photo somewhere from film days.
Cool Shot. It made a great sepia.
My grandson has a total love of anything train right now. :)
Something not we take note of every time we see a train. A splendid capture.
Your title is - very Punny! :)
Like Robin said - you are on a roll with your titles.
Great shot and subject.
a broken brake???
You're right, this shot just have to be in sepia, great!
that's really beautiful! isn't it amazing how much art there is out there in the world if you just look at it with an open mind - and a creative eye
I've been visiting regularly but can't always comment - for some reason the past week or so IE just doesn't like your site - so I need to launch Firefox - which I don't always have time to do since Firefox causes problems with some of work software
don't you love how computers make our lives so less complicated ;)
Hi!
Wonderful Shot! Amazing that a train wheel could be so beautiful! Have a great day!!
