Lovely composed picture. This is perfect in black and white.
Damn, that's powerful. John nailed it: incredible composition, and one that absolutely needs to be monochrome.Nothing suggests massiveness like anything related to rail travel.
Beautiful shot - well composed and the B&W was an excellent choice.
Great shot...I love the black and white theme. Happy WW:)
I love it. The black and white really works for this one.
I love your post's title. It's also the title of one of the songs of my favorite band. :DAnd the photo? Incredibly amazing. And I agree, the monochrome thing worked in giving the photo more impact.
Will it never move again? Pretty of course!
:)good one!
Cool shot! What is it about train tracks wheels locomotives that is so cool to photograph? steel!!
very effective in black and white - my WW is also about trains - Judith
Still a working train?
Nice. Very very nice.
Very cool. And perfect in B&W.
Beautiful use of b&w. Leaves me wondering where that wheel has traveled.Tabbikat's Thoughts
excellent title
Johnny Cash comes to mind, not sure why ..
haha! that is some sort of bitter-bitter funny title!:) nice photo!my WW is here
I can hear the long squeal of the train brakes, as I used to live beside railway lines once upon a time. Love the black and white shot.
Great picture and perfect title! Do you shoot in black and white or alter later on computer? I also love the walnut tree photo and "better days".
A rusty old monster that has infinitely more elegance in its decaying state than its new replacements in all their sleek design. :)
I love pics of old mechanical equipment, especially in b/w or sepia. This picture could also serve in Carmi's meme - busted.Happy wordless wednesday.
"rust in peace" ... LOL!- oh so witty of you!Great shot!
