Ruby Tuesday #29: Extreme Specialization
My first thought when I saw this sign from the road was "WTF??". My second thought was "That's a pretty narrow specialization!" But I finally got around to thinking, "What a perfect Ruby Tuesday photo!"

I guess a styling salon called Red Hair would be far more specialized.
If you've ever noticed, most women paint their nails some shade of red, from pastels to bright red, to everything in-between.
And if that's the type of place you need a gas mask to walk into, no thank you! :-)
That's a great name for a nail salon, Mojo! And a great photo for a post. I have a permanent French Manicure which is that manicure you see around that has white tips and clear nail beds... know what I mean? Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
I am not a manicure/pedicure person as I only hold hands and or feet with people I really like....but it is a good RT photo...
Better than black nails. Though I've seen women with those.
Happy Ruby Tuesday.
I wonder if Lowes knows about stylish building materials like these nails??
Nicely spotted. Great choice for RT.
Perfect shot for Ruby Tuesday!
I wonder if they have to refer out if you want pink...
I agree, great RT post. I once read a study that said most men prefer red nails on women. And, look at how much money is spent keeping them happy.
Great posting for RT. The only thing they could have had was a RED sign. Have a great Ruby Tuesday, Mojo.
I've gone a long way till I learned American short for cursing.
Made it today!
But "Red nails"? First I thought of was the carpenter's nails, the metal ones, not the blue.
Liked the picture, liked the cultural and lingual challenge.
From Felisol
Red long nails scratching the walls in the dead of the night making screeching noises that make your hair stand.... those were my first thoughts when I saw your picture!
I watched too much horror shows!!
My internet access was ready yesterday, I've changed the wordings of the comment *wink*
Ooooh, that snap inspires all sorts of glossy red nail images...Happy RT
to you Mojo! :)
Silently Mine
Yup ... it's definitely PERFECT for Ruby Tuesday. Mine's at Small Reflections ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I need an appointment there! great find and shot for RT!
heee heee heeee, indeed, but i want black!!!!!
Good choice for Ruby Tuesday! I actually used to love the smell of the nail salon! I think it was because it was the one girly thing I ever did - it was my time to just relax. But I never had them painted red, except at Christmas time.

I like it. "Red Nails" is kinda catchy. We have a nail place in my neighborhood that calls itself,
"Nail Sparty". I always wonder if they meant to say, "Nails Party!"
the store itself doesn't look like a nail salon, wouldn't it be hilarious if it wasn't
great shot
So it's all about perspective ;). Great photo and theme. Best wishes.
or red door? red barn? over all...i just love red. and yes even on my nails!:)
my ruby move
Nice post, but is there a pink nails place around there anywhere?
:)
Absolutly not surprised by this name. In France, nail varnish is also called "Rouge à ongles" (Red for nails).
What is fantatstic is to change the Ruby Tuesday rules.
Well-done, Mojo. Very original. I like your way to play the game.
Great job Mojo!! you have red brick and also the word red. What a great find!!
Happy RT:-)
So, can you just get Red Nails?
I'm so laughing at Ralph's comment.
My Ruby Tuesday is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.
roflol what a crazy idea...
Hi Jazz. Great pic. Reminds me of that Conan the Barbarian book - Red Nails.
I took you at your word. Poncho is reappearing, this time at Ruby Tuesday. Thanks for the suggestion.
Annie
I'm amazed how many of those nail places are in business... I mean, for real - are THAT many women getting their nails done to support THAT many of these places? Hmm, evidently so, I guess. Waste of money, IMO.
Odd name for one, too.
