In case you missed it: Check out my entry in Nicole B's Scavenger Hunt!
My dad would've loved this title I can tell you. Puns were his "thing", and he was not just a master, I think he may have been the master. So the title's for him, but the photo's for you. This is some kind of machinery that would be used on a sod farm. I know this because I took this photo at (wait for it) a sod farm. But not being a sod farmer, I couldn't tell you what its purpose is or even what its given name might be. I do know it made a cool photograph.Stumble This!

Sod on, McCog!
And why do you think Mojo, they would take the time to paint them RED? I'm glad they did but why, I wonder? Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
Indeed this is a cool photograph.
Studying the many wheels (sprockets); could they form a combine sod harvester?
From Felisol
It is a cool photo. Love all those red spokes and wheels. I also have an agriculturally-related post, and I probably know less about agriculture than you.
It made a VERY cool photograph.
Great shot; I'm sure it'd be great in sepia too.
Your right, very cool photograph! Although, in Iowa, we prefer Green
I love gears, I don't know why. But the intricacies of gear manufacturing interest me. This red looks like International Harvester red, like their famous Farmall tractors.
Pun rhymes with fun...
Such a great shot and I love that title!
A work of art I must say.... positively Red!
Dad's in the machinery business and honestly, to think of it now. I don't ever recall seeing a machine of any sort that's red @_@ Weird huh.
Though I've got no idea what's a pun that you've mentioned. I like this shot pretty much :)
Your dad sounds fun. The title is clever.
Your powers of reasoning are amazing! (And it DOES make a cool picture.)
Sprocket to me, indeed! Looks like the (red) apple didn't fall too far from the tree! Nice photo, Ruby Tuesday or no, just a great capture.
It is a cool pic! and intensively red :)
I never see machinery that color, so cool!
In the beginning when my son brought home insects as a child, it freaked me out but over the years, I learned more about insects through him and became more encouraging mom. I think I'm the one who's more interested in the rhino-horn beetles than him! well anyway , they made a great model for my photograph! ;)
ha, i'm blonde (not really). i don't know what a sprocket or sod farm is, heee heee heee. but nice red it is!!!
It's a sodket! A sprod? A thingamajig doo-hickey whatchacallit!
Happy Tuesday,

Interesting red picture. I like it.
What a great way to get myself in gear this morning.
: )
I love puns, even if I have no skill at them.
… so now I guess I should move along…
Happy Tuesday Mojo!
Lovely shot - and a great post title.
Your Dad taught you well, Mojo.
What a cool shot. I wonder if that's the actual color of the machine and if not, how you got that tone of red. It gives it something that a starker red would eliminate. Not sure if I'm making myself clear...
Love the title and your RED photo for this week.
Hugs and blessings,
I know what a sprocket is, but I'd be flinging wild guesses at what a sod farm is. Anyways this is 'red hot' looking machinery...a perfect Ruby Tuesday shot. :)
Old Ruby Reds
This is a cool "red" photo! The machine sends me a message -- "don't touch me if you really don't know exactly what to do with me because i bite." hehehehe.
Nice one!
