Sky Watch Friday #24: Frozen Moon

"Now If My Hands Would Just Thaw Out!"
Raleigh, NC - November 2008 (Click to embiggen)

In case you missed it: Check out my entry in Nicole B's Scavenger Hunt!
Sky Watch Friday

A crystal blue morning, horses snorting in the pasture, and half a moon on still on the horizon. If my hands hadn't been so cold, it would've been the perfect morning.Violence Unsilenced

This may seriously date me, but I always think of the song "Crystal Blue Persuasion" when I see a sky like that! ;-)

How can it be so cold in NC? The sky does look like blue crystal.

A wonderful morning. The sky has a shade of blue that is so deep and strong. Really very beautiful. Pity about the frozen fingertips.

Day moons fascinate me. They shouldn't be but are. That blue is cool crisp and clear. Very cool image.

Yep it was moon river I nicked that line from, and you are the only one that's got it.

Thawed hands are ever so useful around a camera. I'm glad yours captured this subtle moon!

It certainly looks like a perfect morning! Beautiful.

Will you like to trade your frozen moon for some strong sunlight instead with me? :)

p/s: The place in my Skywatch today, is the same path that man with the thing was walking towards.
