The Doors #10: "Who Knew That Was There?"

"One Day I'll Shoot the Front Side"

Set among a lot of faceless utilitarian state office buildings is this charming...umm... Victorian(?) looking place. This is a view of the back side of it that faces the parking deck I park in. I'd been in and out of this deck for nine years, but always on the other side, so I'd never seen this sheltered entryway until last September. I featured a different shot of this door in a Ruby Tuesday post quite a while back, and at the time I didn't know what was in the building it leads into. I still don't, but it's still a neat looking door and an even neater building.Violence Unsilenced

i agree. it looks intriquing. i can image a little shop in there with dream catchers, beads, incence, art, crystals, an excellent latte...

I like the beds that neatly house the ornamental trees and bushes. It adds a lot to the cool door; with all the green mixed in.

I have a door, too, but I can never figure out how to connect to that The Doors meme. I guess just leave a link in comments at authorblog?

Anyway, a most enjoyable post on a dreary New England day. Where IS the sun lately???

Very cool door. A photographer in my town did a poster of local house doors and it sold really well! Happy WW:)

Nice sot. I have hundreds of door photos -- a very favorite theme of mine.

What a lovely setting between the trees, archway and color.

This is awesome, I love your angle the arch is very neat. It is amazing what you can find when you get snoopy.

For some odd reason I feel like it could be the offices of the Society for Silly Walks from Monty Python, don't ask me why. And I love the purple shrub. Beautiful pic.

Beautiful work, Mojo, because your shot frames the surroundings as well, to give us a hint of semi-concealment.

What is it about doors that is so intriguing? Love the colors in this shot. :)
