Monochrome Monday #33: Waiting For A Sign
I spotted this empty signpost during a stop along the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2001. I don't know exactly what drew me to it, but there was something interesting about the figure it cut against the clear sky that I apparently thought was worth shooting. There's not much more to tell about it than that.

I'm sure there's a sign there now that reads, "Mojo was here."
I just know it!
It would cross my mind, to think what it was there for originally...
I am very fond of wrought iron angles and lines.....:-)
I like your mono "Mojo was here"
I joined Monochrome Weekly today :)
I wish you a great week!
Anna
I like it! The strong composition, the background...
Now that is a bold direct image.
It can be considered now as classic photo.
This is a great photo but your title for it really grabbed me. I love the play on words.
Great title.
To me, it looks like a spear or an arrow thrusting into the frame.
the composition in mono enhances the starkness...
lovely!
Very effective.
I have no plans to move yet again - believe me the last move really hurt.
it looks to me like a weapon vampires would use...
It made a nice piece of stark nakedness.
Clever .. very ... and I love the title
Not so sure that it's waiting for a sign, I think the wind blew one away! :)
Looks like it is waiting for a sign that says 'dangerous sign holder'. It looks a bit lethal just sticking out there.
