I used another shot of this same sign in a scavenger hunt a while back, but since I never ever take one shot when two will do the job, I had this one still floating around waiting for a prompt. Enter Carmi, stage left with "Signs".Perfect.

OH MY GOD! I cannot tell you how many times I've had to take calls from friends trying to get to my house from Glenwood over the intersection in your photo. And the alternative? Risk life and limb turning left at Wade and Brooks. In my book, a great choice for the theme.

Clearly these signs were made for the Hatfields and McCoys or people that can only count up to 100. What happened to the 200 group?? :D
Nothing better than getting confused when driving, though whenever I see something like this it's usually in a low traffic, low speed area.

I hear ya re. taking two shots. In the age of scarcity - film - one shot of a given scene was pretty much the norm. Proably was, if you didn't nail it that one time, you lost the opportunity. My, how often I sat outside the photo lab, disappointed that I hadn't tried another composition or exposure setting.
If I boil digital down to one thing, it's that it's allowed me to tell the story using as many shots as I feel I need. It's so much more satisfying, because I never have to arrive home after a vacation or whatever and regret that I couldn't go back to retake the shot.
