Blue Monday #40: "Agriculture Building"
This this building was apparently occupied by the state Health Department originally. Or at least at some point. There's a little confusion (mine) as to when the building actually came to be, and what it originally housed. There are at least three dates visible on the outside of the building, any one of which might be the date of construction. One stone says 1845, another 1898 and a third reads "Health Building - 1928". Nowadays it's home to one branch or another of the Department of Agriculture. If the signs are to be believed anyway. They wouldn't lie to us about something like that would they?

We have an old Catholic university in town, and many of their buildings look like this, especially their library. I've been to the top, and inside and out, it's gorgeous . . .
The government is very good at reusing. This is a good sign.
By the way, have you found your governor yet?
I love the BLUE sky. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Beautiful building against the blue sky backdrop!
That's a nice sky capture, Mojo, and I like that building a lot. I always have been fascinated by turrets.
Happy Blue Monday!
Sheila :-)
Lots of dates on that building! They sure don't make 'em like that anymore. . . whenever it was built. :) lol
No, they don't build them like that any more. Pity! Happy Blue Monday!
