Experiment in color temperature using manual white balance. This was at the cool end of the scale obviously. I liked the results though.

Hey, spooky AND beautiful! I love moon shots, and trees--loved this.
I easily get spooked by images like this, of course until I realize that there's nothing to worry about.

I have yet to take a decent moon picture, but while I wait for a better camera, I enjoy yours! :-)
A witchy moon .. or maybe an elusive Moon Tree?
I haven't yet figured out how to get the moon. This one seems to be trying to hide and not doing a very good job of it.
I like it an awful lot, too. I am trying to imagine standing in that spot feeling so close to that huge moon. Magic.
I've always preferred cooler moons to the cheese moons, and this one's no exception. They just seem to better reflect the mysteriousness and falling temperatures that night brings.

I have the most difficult time photographing the moon... and lightning. I love how it shines through the trees.
