You're early :). I was about to post a comment here when I noticed my own name on the bottom and realized this was a Summer Stock entry. I take it the autoposter is still out?

And as someone who finds pigeons "polluting" her laundry and patio to be the bane of her existance (my kids learned at a very early age to yell "get out of here you damn birds!") I wouldn't pay a wooden nickel to feed 'em, let alone tuppence!

Great shot! I remember feeding birds Fritos on the beach at Port Aransas in Texas as a kid. Thanks for the memory . . .

This photographs takes me back to when we used to go to Carolina Beach in the summer to see my grandparents. Just like the postcards in the five and dime spinner. Love it, love it.

Looks like the birds are fighting over something. They are too close to the people - Hitchcock close :) You are very good at this! I enjoy your work. Wish I had 1% of your knowledge!

Yikes! A Hitchcock moment. A beautifully shot Hitchcock moment.

Awww... I love seagulls -- but they DO get vicious once you start feeding them. I prefer to watch others on the beach feed them -- and hope they stay away from me! We had one come down and grab a sandwich right out of my granddaughter's HAND last year! She was almost 4 and it scared her to death! After that we taught her how to eat UNDER her towel! LOL!

I think that many birds flying that close to me would scare me to death, but it sure makes for a great shot when other people are the subject! LOL

I like the amount of sandy beach in the photo, with the action slightly far off. Very compelling framing.
