Technically this is a "trail" rather than a "road" but it's paved, and we're allowed some interpretive license so ... deal with it. This is part of the miles and miles of carriage/riding trails at the Moses Cone Estate on the Blue Ridge Parkway between Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. I've featured the Cone Estate a number of times, and even caught sections of this and other trails in the process. But few of those shots had the trail itself as the central subject.
