Ruby Tuesday #49: "Call Me"
In the wake of 9/11, the Capitol district of downtown Raleigh somehow got its own police agency. If I'm not mistaken, they're a branch of the state police rather than a special branch of Raleigh's finest. But they're responsible for monitoring the emergency call boxes like this one in the parking lot of the Department of Administration building.

How interesting. I wonder if every state capital has this kind of extra security. Hmmm.
I wonder what graphic design company designed their logo. Nice logo, well-done. Inspires confidence for me.
Cool badge for cool guys and gals! Go, NC!
that's so cool as extra protection for the citizens. Nice badge! My RT is up here
The police signage is nice, the red stands out and the eagle give this sign an air of authority. I salute this fine style!
I wonder if it is really extra protection for the citizens, or extra protection for the politicians.Sometimes from the citizens.
A brand new department? Actually I wouldn't be surprised. Even here in Singapore, ever since the 911 case. Guard post started appearing at schools.
Thanks for the linky help,ur comment was at 5am my time. Yes!!! I was still in my lala land :P
Great RT shot!
My Ruby Tuesday
Electric describes that Police sign. Hopefully they're keeping an eye on things with the same energy as this sign displays.:))

North Carolina and security are becoming synonymous in my mind. And insecurity. All this security makes the place a lovely target. Hey, but I'll sit by the emergency exit, and I'll make that call.
It's always good to be prepared. :)
I wonder the same as EG, does every state capitol have this? I'll have to do some research
great shot of the signage mojo
