The last stop I made on my way out of Greensboro on Sunday was at this little multi-purpose complex featuring a gas station, convenience store and -- as luck would have it -- a 24 hour laundromat. With a check-cashing place. And who knows what else. Judging from the crowd hanging around, I'd just guess that in the colder months of the year the place also sees some duty as an improvised homeless shelter. (Which I'm sure just thrills the tenants to no end.) This day though, all the loiterers with brown paper baggage were outside enjoying an all-too-brief cool-down in the weather.

What Lisa said....and, hey, what happened to the head of the woman on the right there? I have embiggened and tried it from every angle. She seems not all there!
Sounds convenient for a 24hr laundromat yet I wonder...are there really souls out there that do their laundry in the middle of the night?!?!
