One more line and the theme is done. This is the rather emphatic tide line at North Topsail Beach. I was truly astonished at how high up the strand the evidence of water came. The smooth, flat area where Water Had Been was a good 50 yards wide in places. And, as evidenced by this photo, several inches deep as well.
