I try to keep a basic, fundamental philosophy about Things In General that maintains that, "Any day above ground that does not involve an orange jumpsuit is a good day." I was reminded of this over the weekend when I bumped into a co-worker who said "Isn't this just so much better than being at the office?" Which would have seemed perfectly reasonable had we not run into each other at the county landfill. I had to wonder, what does it say about your job satisfaction when the dump is an improvement? Stranger than fiction I tell ya.But regardless of where I find myself, I still try to keep in mind that I'm better off than these guys.

Usually, people with that level of job satisfaction are in charge of providing me with customer service.

I had to laugh - if you ask Itai about his favorite experiences this summer, I strongly suspect that going to the dump would be near the top.
