Cold cold cold .. dreary drab and did I mention cold? Why do all government buildings have to look as if they have no sense of humor?

I just read Daryl's comment and have to agree with what she said. Government buildings do look like they have no sense of humour. BUT the people inside are laughing all the way to the bank.

The humor is dry, not missing, just dry. The lack of color highlights that.

Since it is only 45 degrees in my world today the cold look of this is fitting.
Your photo seems to have evoked a sense of opposition of sorts today. :)

A lovely capitol in Raleigh. The alabaster (off-white?) appears less stark in sepia, a softer monochromatic tone. The trees show off their shape well in sepia and add a natural enhanced view to this government structure...

Now that is one sturdy building. It looks like a cold fall day, or is it a chilly spring morning? Beautiful photo in sepia!

I don't like going into government buildings. They always make me feel creepy.

This looks like a bitterly cold day. And it's flurrying here in Connecticut today, making me feel like it's winter already.

The photo lends itself well to sepia.

I think this is the perfect sepia tone, Mojo! :)
