Thematic Photographic 72: "Junk" v.4.0 - Pallet-ive Care
Finally you get a break from the junkyard in Jacksonville. This cluster of junk is a bit closer to home, and not far at all from where I work. Amid the collection of shabby chic shops and trendy restaurants that make up Seaboard Station I found this assortment of forklift pallets one chilly November evening last year. Maybe it was some kind of art noveau installation, or perhaps it was left there as a firewood supply for Raleigh's homeless population. I sort of prefer to think of it serving some nobler purpose than just taking up space because nobody could be bothered to clean it up.

I love this... the composition, the lighting .. its wonderful
I really hope that it's firewood!
Found art here. Pallets...Finding those used to make my dad's day so he could keep things off the basement floor. Those were the 70s.
May they burn well.
Ya know what else makes great firewood? Zombies!
You can build a house with those - I saw one in Ready Made magazine. lol - It's less than 100 sq ft house, but they called it a house. Nice photo, of course.
