Oooo, Mojo, dark chocolate sepia! I LOVE it! I've always loved a house with a wrap-around porch! Thanks for being so loyal to Sepia Scenes! Hugs! :)

Mary's right - dark chocolate - what a great description of the sepia here. I swear, if it wasn't for the a/c in the window, I would feel as though I had walking through the looking glass - the mood of the past is so strong in this picture.

I agree with Mary and Annie - dark chocolate!
And the past for sure is strong in this picture.
Great shot!

The classic lines of this 1920s (?) old house are seen, especially in sepia. Minus color, we can better view the beautifully simple lines minus distractions. I like this view!

Nice photo of an old house that must be full of stories within.

Too bad about the A/C in the window. It jolts us back to the present.

I love this too! I love verandas.

This makes me want to see more of the neighborhood...have a feeling of expectation like there is more to see.

I like the detail in this, both on the house and the tree. The grayscale/sepia tone definitely brings it out.

I keep waiting for the carpetbagger to walk by.

Love the darker tinted sepia.

I was actually extremely surprised to see this. I happen to live in NC, work right on Tate since it's 'the' college strip for UNCG and have actually partied in that house for many a nights :D Great choice and good work. They're all beautiful houses.

Oh, that's beautiful, and the angle makes the house looks spooky too. Love it!

What a stately pine tree you've captured. I love the way these old pines have so much character. But I hate the critters that live in them. This summer I we camped under pines that looked similar to this one, and there were spiders as big around as a half dollar living in them. Gave me the willies.
Beautiful photo, and nice pick for this week.
