This could be a scene from a movie - one of those scary ones.
I almost hear screams!

Way to go to shoot a picture like this :)

Oh the pretty steeple
waits for the people
doors are closed
windows shuttered
building is posed
waiting for words to be uttered

I had the same reaction Vita did. Scary movie time. Good mood here. I'm hearing the theme from The Twilight Zone.

That was a lovely church. It doesn´t scare me.

Up in New England it seems that a white church in the center of town or on the town green is a given. And now I am thinking about the white churches down south. These buildings are simple, and that simplicity adding a quiet dignity and beauty. Nice capture in sepia!

This old wooden church looks very good in sepia - your light sepia tone :)

It feels like stepping into a time machine.

If it's untitled, does that mean nobody owns it?

I like this. I don't do church the way I used to, but this one gets me.

nice perspective and interesting subject ... add a little old-timey/grass roots gospel music and hand clapping, and *poof*, count me there
