This is a wonderful picture. With the lamps over the billboard space, I can almost see a beautiful painted Pepsi ad being lit up and beckoning to stop in for a carbonated treat. The inset brick for the board and beveled entry are details from long ago, the brick facade stunning in sepia...

Wow! Great picture! You can't really tell if it's an old picture or a new one because the building has such a old feel.

I like Pepsi better than Coke, Mojo! And I really love that dark sepia tone... :)

The brickwork and the faded Pepsi sign are perfect. I remember the old pepsi bottles, the 12 oz. glass bottles with 2 cent deposit. Ah yes, a cold bottle of Pepsi and a pack of Tasycake chocolate cupcakes -- a nutritious snack for sure.

Sepia works really well with this old brick building and the classically drawn Pepsi sign.

The photo evokes a simpler time and place.

Timeless! And so North Carolina. Isn't there a store just like this on a corner in almost every small town in our state? Yeah, we were all weaned on Pepsi.
