I like the clean, mostly empty quality and the straight lines. It's an interesting experience walking alone on a city street that seems designed for a crowd.
Amazing photography of the night. Oh! how very right you are, asking about the endless stories pavement is able to provide...along with the sound the stepping shoes make.

It would say, what's with this business where they tear up the street for a mall and then tear up the mall for a street. Good shot.
