No Photoshop tricks here other than some background blur. The heart "drawing" is straight out of the camera. I'd love to take credit for catching it so perfectly, but the fact is all I really did was (mostly accidentally) hit the button on the remote at the right time.
Oh the title? "Hearts on Fire" of course. What else would you call it?

It's a sparkler? At first glance, it looked like something out of nature, like a dried plant. I guess I look at lots of nature shots then I spend a lot of time in my garden.

That is the cutest firework I have ever seen :)
Love it .. people, DOF, HEART .. sparkles ... a winner
perfect title and perfect focus on the heart.
PS, on the sunset, i adjusted the contrast a notch lower.
my question and your answer on the fireworks relates to
this photo. i wanted to give the shot a foreground, or the fireworks become the background.
thanks you.
Naturally!
I love shots like this, they are gifts, both to the photographer and the viewer.
